The goal is to get users to allocate their votes and to submit their votes properly.
A new card was created to showcase nominees, with meta fields for producers to input: Music Video Title, Artist, Professional Credits, and a Call-to-Action to watch the associated video.
Voting buttons are enabled / disabled depending on how many votes the user has left to allocate for that category.
When a user first lands on the voting page, the first voting category is open. The header indicates the category name and directly below it is a dynamic counter of how many votes are left for the user in that category.
The persistant footer indicates how many categories the user has submitted their votes in.
The call-to action within the card links to a modal with the associated music video. Users can click the prev / next arrows to navigate between all the nominated videos.
The user is prompted to log in when they cast their first vote. This is utilized so that users can return the next day and vote again.
If a user uses up all ten votes in a category, a modal appears to confirm if a user wants to submit or edit their votes. Selecting edit will close the modal and return the user to where they were before. Submitting will close the category and open up the next.
If a user does not want to submit all ten votes, they can still submit by clicking on the submit button at the bottom of the category.
Once the user submit votes for all categories, a modal appears to thank the user and to remind them to vote again the next day.
Some categories are only votable throught social media platforms such a instagram or twitter.
For instagram voting, the user is led to the corresponding instagram story where they can vote.
On twitter, the user is prompted to tweet a hashtag of who they are voting for.
